Early Voting in Naperville: Locations, Hours & Deadlines

Early voting in Naperville is already open for the Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026 general election — but where you go depends on which county your house sits in. Here is the DuPage side, the Will side, and every deadline still ahead of you.

Naperville's two-county split confuses somebody every election. Most of the city is in DuPage County, while the southern neighborhoods are in Will County — and each county runs its own early voting program, on its own schedule, at its own sites. The good news: both counties use the Naperville Municipal Center, and both let you walk in and vote well before Election Day. The trap is showing up at the right building on the wrong county's schedule.

Early voting in Naperville for DuPage County voters

Naperville Municipal Center — open now

DuPage voters have been able to vote at the Municipal Center (400 S. Eagle St., Meeting Rooms A & B) since Thursday, Sept. 24. Through Friday, Oct. 16, hours are weekdays 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.–noon. One practical note from the city: enter through the main entrance facing Aurora Avenue by the fountain — the lower-level parking garage is not open for voter access during early voting.

Hours expand Monday, Oct. 19

Starting Monday, Oct. 19, the Municipal Center site shifts to longer hours: weekdays 9 a.m.–7 p.m. and weekends 9 a.m.–5 p.m., running through Monday, Nov. 2. DuPage also grows from 5 temporary sites to 25 permanent ones that day — including Fox Valley Mall in Aurora (195 Fox Valley Center Dr., Entrance #1, Unit E2) — and any DuPage voter can use any site in the county, so pick whichever is closest to work or home.

Early voting in Naperville for Will County voters

Two Naperville sites open Monday, Oct. 19

Will County's Naperville locations — the Municipal Center (400 S. Eagle St.) and the 95th Street Library (3015 Cedar Glade Dr.) — run Monday, Oct. 19 through Monday, Nov. 2. The first week (Oct. 19–23) is weekdays 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., plus Saturday, Oct. 24, 9 a.m.–noon. Sunday, Oct. 25 hours differ by site: 9 a.m.–noon at the Municipal Center, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. at the library.

The second week gets easier: Oct. 26–30 runs 8:30 a.m.–7 p.m. on weekdays at both sites. On Saturday, Oct. 31, the Municipal Center is open 9 a.m.–4 p.m. and the library 9 a.m.–3 p.m.; on Sunday, Nov. 1, it's 9 a.m.–4 p.m. downtown and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. at the library. Can't wait until Oct. 19?

Will County voters who want to vote this week can go to the Will County Clerk's Office at 302 N. If you voted by mail instead, Will County keeps a secure ballot drop box inside the 95th Street Library; drop boxes stay available until noon on Monday, Nov. 2.

The deadlines that are still coming

Missed every registration deadline? Illinois has a backstop: grace-period registration runs through Election Day. You register and vote in the same visit at an early voting site (or your Election Day polling place), bringing two forms of identification, one showing your current address. Will County confirms all of its early voting sites offer it, and DuPage election workers will register you on the spot before issuing a ballot.

Before you go

Check your registration and preview your sample ballot through your county clerk's voter lookup before you leave — it takes a minute and beats discovering an old address at the check-in table. Early ballots aren't counted as they come in; both counties tabulate them after polls close on Election Day. And if you're voting at the Municipal Center on a weekday, build in a few extra minutes for downtown parking — our Columbus Day open-and-closed guide noted the same building stays busy most weekday mornings. For everything else happening while you're downtown, the Naperville events calendar covers the rest of October.
